Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear, fair, and consistent with the BPCPA’s consumer-protection standards.

1) Deposits

  • Deposits secure your date/time and crew.

  • Fully refundable if you cancel <48 hours before the start time (excluding peak/end-of-month dates if otherwise stated on your quote).

  • Non-refundable if cancelled within 48+ hours & or if the crew arrives and cannot perform due to inaccurate details or lack of access.

 

2) Rescheduling

  • Free rescheduling if re-booking for another date  within 24+ hours notice provided (subject to availability).

 

3) No-shows / Access issues

If we attend and cannot proceed due to building access, parking, missing elevator booking, or absence of an authorized adult, the deposit charged and any applicable fees (parking, travel) apply.

4) Partial refunds / Time-based billing

We bill for actual time worked beyond the minimum. If the job finishes early, you pay only the time used (rounded to the agreed billing increment), plus any km/add-ons.

 

5) Weather & force majeure

For conditions outside our control (extreme weather, road closures), we will offer a no-fee reschedule or a refund of any pre-paid amounts not already incurred.

 

6) How to request a refund

Email [leanmovers@hotmail.com] with your name, job number, date, and reason. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

 

7) Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the B.C. Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act or other applicable laws.
